We recommend booking at least one week in advance to ensure availability, especially during peak moving season (summer months). However, we understand that life happens β€” we accommodate same-day and next-day moves when possible. You can book up to a year in advance if you're planning ahead.
Yes! We do our best to accommodate last-minute and same-day moves based on crew availability. Give us a call or request a quote and we'll let you know what we can do. Same-day and next-day moves may have premium pricing depending on availability.
Moving crews are available 7 days a week, from 7am to 8pm. We know weekends and evenings are often the only time people can move, so we have crews ready when you need them β€” including Sundays and holidays.

No. We don't charge extra for stairs. Whether you're on the ground floor or a third-floor walkup, the quote we give you is the quote you pay. We handle stairs all the time β€” it's part of the job.
Yes, we require a $75 deposit to secure your booking. This deposit goes toward your final balance. The remaining balance is due after your move is complete.
We accept all major payment methods β€” credit cards, debit cards, cash, Venmo, Zelle, and more. We keep a card on file at booking, and you can pay the remaining balance with whatever method is most convenient for you.
Yes! We offer 10% off for veterans, seniors, teachers, first responders, and active military. We also have referral codes available through our student ambassadors and past customers. Ask us about current discounts when you request your quote.
Tipping is always at your discretion, but it's standard practice in the moving industry. Our movers are college students working hard to pay their way through school β€” they appreciate any tips and put them to good use. Cash tips can be given directly to the crew at the end of your move.

Your moving crew will bring all the equipment needed at no extra charge β€” furniture pads, dollies, straps, tools, and shrink wrap. Heavy and specialty items are evaluated on a job-by-job basis. Our crews have moved pianos, gun safes, large appliances, and other heavy items. When you request a quote, let us know about any special items so we can assess the requirements and match you with the right crew and equipment.
Yes! In addition to local San Diego moves, we connect you with crews for long-distance moves to Los Angeles, Arizona, Northern California, and beyond. For long-distance moves, you'll receive a custom quote based on distance and inventory. Labor-only help is also available if you prefer to rent your own truck or shipping container.
Absolutely. Our Moving Help & Labor service is perfect for this. We provide the muscle β€” you provide the truck, pod, or container. We'll load or unload U-Haul, Penske, Budget trucks, PODS, U-Pack containers, and more. It's a great way to save money on your move.
Yes! Not moving out β€” just moving around? We do in-home furniture rearranging all the time. Whether you're redecorating, received a new piece, or just want your couch on the other side of the room, we've got you covered.
For safety and liability reasons, movers cannot transport hazardous materials, flammable liquids, explosives, firearms, perishable food, or live plants. We also recommend transporting valuables like jewelry, important documents, and medications yourself. When in doubt, ask us β€” we'll let you know what can and can't be handled.

Move Day

Unless you've booked our full-service packing option, please have your boxes packed and sealed before we arrive. Clear pathways and hallways of any obstructions so we can work efficiently. Disassemble any furniture you're able to, and make a note of items that need special attention. The more prepared you are, the faster and smoother your move will be.
We recommend having someone present at both the pickup and drop-off locations. This helps with directing where items go, answering questions, and doing a final walkthrough. If you can't be there, you can designate a trusted person to represent you.
Crew size depends on the size and complexity of your move. Most moves use 2-4 movers. For larger homes or commercial moves, we may send a bigger crew. We'll recommend the right crew size when we provide your quote.
San Diego is known for its great weather, and light rain won't stop us β€” we come prepared to protect your belongings. In the rare case of severe weather that would put your items or our crew at risk, we'll work with you to reschedule at no additional cost.
You'll receive information about your assigned crew before your move. Our system allows you to text directly with your crew for coordination on move day. All of our movers are background-checked college students β€” you'll know exactly who's showing up.
Move duration depends on several factors: the size of your home, amount of belongings, distance between locations, stairs/elevators, and how prepared you are. A typical studio or 1-bedroom apartment move takes 2-3 hours. A 3-bedroom house might take 4-6 hours. We'll give you an estimate when we provide your quote.

Policies & Protection

Cancellations made 7 or more days before your scheduled move are free β€” we'll refund your deposit in full. Cancellations within 7 days of your move date will forfeit the deposit. We understand plans change, so please let us know as soon as possible if you need to reschedule.
Yes, you can reschedule your move. If you reschedule more than 7 days in advance, there's no penalty. Rescheduling within 7 days of your original date is subject to availability and may require forfeiting your deposit if we can't accommodate the new date.
